Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I need help?
If you are already a Subscriber, please call (800) 209-9700. If you have not yet enrolled into the Equity Accelerator program, please call our Equity Accelerator eCare Center at (800) 549-6445. A member of our eCare Team is on duty from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm (Pacific Time), Monday through Friday. They can help you with any questions about our service or help you enroll.

What are the fees for using the Equity Accelerator program?
This program has different fee structures based on your lender. Please contact Paymap for more details on the program.

What happens if I want to enroll and don't have all of my loan information?
Please call a member of our eCare Team at (800) 549-6445. It is important that you furnish us with your total payment amount. This amount should include your principal, interest and any escrow or impound amount. We are not responsible for short payments due to incorrect information we have received. A member of our eCare Team can assist you, or even arrange a conference call with your mortgage company to help you obtain the information you need.

What happens if my payment amount changes before my program begins?
We will attempt to verify your payment amount prior to the start of the program. Call our Equity Accelerator eCare Center at (800) 549-6445 if your payment has changed.

What happens if my loan is sold?
Once you enroll into the program, we handle all changes for you. Simply give us a call, and furnish your new loan information. With a minimum of three business-days notice we can make certain your changes happen.

What do I do if I change my mind and decide to cancel?
Please contact us. We will have issued you an Equity Accelerator Subscriber number listed on your Welcome Letter. You will need to furnish us with this number and the last four digits of your Social Security Number. You can easily cancel your program in the first 90 days and receive a full refund of any enrollment fees paid. Service fees paid prior to cancellation cannot be refunded.

Can you withdraw money from any kind of account?
We can arrange transfers from any bank account with a Transit Routing Number (TRN). Some Money Market Funds or Credit Union accounts have a limited number of transactions available, so be sure to check with your bank's customer service department for any restrictions on Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

Can I maintain my account online?
Online maintenance of your account is scheduled for one of our future releases. You will receive an email notifying you of this exciting new upgrade to our already convenient service.

Can I get copies of my transactions?
We will be happy to supply you with a complete account history at any time. Simply email a request, with your Equity Accelerator Subscriber number, to subscriber@equityaccelerator.com or call (800) 209-9700. You can also fax us your request at our toll-free fax number, (800) 889-0791.

Does the custodial account earn interest for me?
In most cases, any money held for later application to a loan pays passbook interest, which fluctuates daily. Please contact your banking institution for the latest passbook rates.

How is the interest applied?
Our program actually optimizes the passbook interest paid. This interest is posted monthly as an extra amount that is applied to the principal of your loan. Therefore, your passbook interest helps to pay off your mortgage even sooner and your cumulative interest savings become even greater.
